Summer Workshop Day 2

I'm sitting here in the main room, downstairs, with Ellen and Sophie. They're making signs for today's performances in Amherst. I'm sitting at the kitchen table, typing this. John just ran out of the room to find a few costume pieces we need.

This morning was spent rehearsing our happenings for this afternoon. We did some Suzuki training and we'll be incorporating it into a couple of our pieces. We found some text we want to work with and we composed new lyrics to the tune of "I'm A Little Teapot." Our lyrics talk about child labor in the chocolate industry. We're proud of our song (and more than a little disturbed by it.)

John and Sophie are planning a piece to do together. Something about running and dresses and foam swords.

Oops! Time to get cracking. Last rehearsals before this afternoon! Here we go...
